PUPPY WARRANTY

The Perky Puppy sells only pet quality puppies for companion purposes only. The Perky Puppy makes no guarantee that a puppy is show quality or breeding quality. The Perky Puppy does not sell dogs to be kept outside.

The Perky Puppy makes every effort to provide a happy, healthy puppy at the time of sale. The Perky Puppy discloses any known health conditions at time of sale, however changes in diet or surroundings may increase susceptibility of stress related coughs and/or diarrhea.

All puppies must be vet checked, within 3 business days, to confirm purchase of a healthy puppy. Failure to do so will void all warranties. If your puppy is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian to have any debilitating, untreatable, or incurable condition, it must be reported to The Perky Puppy within 24 hours of diagnosis. No refunds will be given. Upon return of the puppy, The Perky Puppy will issue a credit for the full purchase price towards a replacement puppy. A veterinarian statement with diagnosis and prognosis is required, and the puppy is subject to evaluation by a veterinarian of The Perky Puppy's choosing. From the date of purchase, all veterinary bills are responsibility of purchaser and will not be reimbursed by The Perky Puppy.

The Perky Puppy guarantees against Parvovirus for twelve days from date of purchase* and congenital defects until one year of age. Accident or injury voids all warranties. Failure to keep puppy vaccinations current voids all warranties.

There are no other implied or intended guarantees or warranties. Warranty is not transferable. Deposits are non-refundable.

Puppies in good condition may be returned within 7 days for 50% of the purchase price. A 5% return fee will be charged for all non-cash transactions.

Failure to abide by the terms of this agreement voids all expressed and implied warranties.

*Our warranty is designed to protect our customers, as well as The Perky Puppy. Most veterinarians agree on an incubation period for Parvo of 10 to 14 days. Our warranty is that we guarantee against Parvo for 12 days. Our belief is that if the puppy becomes symptomatic on day 13 or 14 after purchase, the chances are good that it was exposed after it left our shop (probably at a rest area or dog park or some other public area). If it becomes symptomatic prior to that, it was likely exposed at our place or at our breeders, and we take full responsibility for that.

Parvo is a very serious threat, especially in Ohio (the 7th most prevalent state for Parvo). Due to the nature of our business, we must make it our business to know Parvo well. We vaccinate all of our puppies every 2 to 3 weeks (depending on age and previous vaccine history) with Galaxy DA2PPv puppy shot (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Hepatitis, and Parvovirus). We also give NeoPar (an extra antiParvo vaccine that is 57 times stronger that what is found in the typical puppy shot). All vaccination records are given to the customer at the time of purchase.

We spend a lot of money to ensure the best protection for our puppies. We don't skimp on anything. However, even well-vaccinated puppies are not bomb proof, especially when allowed to play in public areas. We advise our customers to limit puppies' exposure to public doggie areas until the vaccination series has been completed.
