We carry PARVAID-an herbal food supplement that has proven its usefulness in helping dogs overcome the dreaded canine parvovirus.

Parvo is a viral disease that attacks the intestinal tract. It has been around for nearly 20 years and can be transmitted by direct contact or indirectly by contact with vomit, diarrhea or any contaminated discharges from an infected dog. This virus can cause vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, depression, dehydration, high fever and sudden death. Parvo is hard to kill and is shed in large numbers by infected dogs. Parvo is often fatal and strikes suddenly causing your pet to become extremely ill. The illness usually begins suddenly, and without treatment the animal often dies within a few days.

Parvaid was developed in 1997 to help your animal overcome Parvo. It has an 85% success rate and takes an average of 2 days before the animal begins eating on its own.

Parvaid has been know to help with other illnesses such as extreme Vomiting, Diarrhea, Corona, E-Coli, Distemper and Giardia.

Parvaid may be used as a preventative if the animal has been exposed. When Parvo is introduced into the body, it finds its way into the glands of the animal and incubates. Eventually the virus will leave the gland and work its way into the intestinal tract where it will begin the process of eating away the lining causing symptoms. This usually takes anywhere from 3 to 15 days. If Parvaid is introduced before the virus reaches the intestinal tract nine times out of ten Parvaid will help the dog fight off the virus making it look as if Parvo never existed. If the animal has a weak immune system or the strain of the virus is one of the harder strains to fight off then the preventative measures may not work entirely however, the animal will not get as sick as he would have if not given the Parvaid.

Treatment for canine Parvovirus consists of giving fluids through a vein, and giving antibiotics. A sick animal must be isolated from other dogs. A vaccine is available, and veterinarians recommend that all puppies be immunized and that dogs receive booster injections annually.

Parvoviruses are a group of extremely small viruses that affect humans, dogs, rodents, pigs, cattle, and other animals. Millions of particles can be found in one ounce of stool and an animal needs only one thousand of those particles to be infected.

An antibiotic is necessary for the treatment of Parvo ( due to the lack of white blood cells the body is producing) to prevent secondary infections. Because of the changes over the last few years with Parvo and its imitators we recommend giving Vibactra Plus (Amber Technology's antibiotic) in addition to Parvaid.

Immune builders, Anti Viral products, antibiotics and other things that may help your puppy overcome Parvo are great but may be difficult for your puppy to digest. Puppies with Parvo are extremely nauseous and dehydrate quickly. It is important to have a continual flow of fluid going through the intestinal tract. Parvaid helps that flow happen . Parvaid calms the stomach, promotes the appetite and allows the fluid to pass into the intestinal tract.

Many of our customers want to use their Veterinarian treatment in addition to the Parvaid, so we separated the Parvaid and Vibactra. This allows our customers to make a choice. The antibiotic from the Veterinarian will treat bacterial infections and Parvo is a virus. Even though the antibiotic does not treat the Parvo itself, Parvo will cause secondary infections making it very important for the use of an antibiotic. Vibactra will treat viral and bacterial infections. Using Parvaid and Vibactra will help your puppy calm the stomach and allow for the immune builders in the Parvaid and the Vibactra to pass into the intestinal tract also fighting off the viral and bacterial infections.

Parvaid is made in an alcohol base in order to get the medicinal properties into the bloodstream quickly. With Parvo there is not much time to treat the disease. Parvaid gets into the bloodstream within seconds and begins to help your puppy overcome the disease.

Parvaid may also be used for vomiting, diarrhea, Corona, Distemper, E-Coli and Giardia.

Symptoms of Parvo may include : Vomiting, diarrhea, depression, yellow-green, clear with red streaks or dark brown runny stools and fever.

Parvaid can also be used for:
