Behind the Scenes @ The Perky Puppy

Many of you have expressed an interest in a behind-the-scenes glimpse at The Perky Puppy...we hear things like, "You've got the best job" and "I wish I had your life!"

The truth is that we do have a great life! We love our lives and we love our work! It isn't always easy. As a matter of fact, it's a lot of work. That work pays off over and over again. Life and happiness aren't counted in dollars, but in smiles and in laughter. And there are lots and lots of laughs around here!

We've had a little dose of "Wild Kingdom" here in the last few weeks! A female snapping turtle laid eggs in our yard. We got a few great pictures:

We found a baby robin a week or so ago. We aren't sure where he came from, and after observing him for awhile, we realized he may soon become cat food.

Vanessa named him "Elroy" and he was living in our incubator.
